Is there a pillow case that helps prevent facial wrinkles?
by admin on Mar.10, 2010, under facial wrinkle
When I wake up I always have pillow marks/wrinkles in my face from sleeping on my cotton pillow case. Is there a pillow case on the market that is made of a special kind of material to prevent this?
I’ve seen a pure silk one advertised in beauty mags. Meant to be good for skin & keeping hair neater too. Maybe you could do a search for one.

This is just a thought but… have you seen untouched photos of celebrities at all? They have wrinkles and they are rich. It might make you think that creams can’t get rid of wrinkles only surgery can…
has anyone tried Frownies wrinkle treatment and do they work?

What is a good eye cream to reduce the wrinkles under the eyes?
I only want answers from people who has tried out the products and can related from personal experience.
Thanks
I recommend the Oil of Olay Regenerist Eye Lifting Serum. Overall, I’ve been really happy with the entire Olay Regenerist line, but this eye wrinkle cream was my favorite. It helped to reduce wrinkles under my eyes as well as diminish some of the puffiness too. I’ve also tried RoC Multi-Correxion Eye Treatment and had great results.
what actually causes facial wrinkles?
by admin on Mar.09, 2010, under facial wrinkle
My mother always used to wear sunglasses (and still does) on sunny days, saying that squinting in the sun causes wrinkles around the eyes. But don’t these wrinkles go away once you’re out of the sun? Do facial expressions actually cause wrinkles?
The cells divide more slowly, and the inner layer of skin (the dermis) starts to thin. Fat cells beneath the dermis begin to atrophy (diminish). In addition, the ability of the skin to repair itself diminishes with age, so wounds are slower to heal. The thinning skin becomes vulnerable to injuries and damage.
The underlying network of elastin and collagen fibers, which provides scaffolding for the surface skin layers, loosens and unravels. Skin then loses its elasticity. When pressed, it no longer springs back to its initial position but instead sags and forms furrows.
The sweat- and oil-secreting glands atrophy, depriving the skin of their protective water-lipid emulsions. The skin’s ability to retain moisture then diminishes and it becomes dry and scaly.
Frown lines (those between the eyebrows) and crow’s feet (lines that radiate from the corners of the eyes) appear to develop because of permanent small muscle contractions. Habitual facial expressions also form characteristic lines.
Gravity exacerbates the situation, contributing to the formation of jowls and drooping eyelids. (Eyebrows, surprisingly, move up as a person ages, possibly because of forehead wrinkles.)
Wrinkles can have a profound impact on self-esteem. Indeed, the stigma attached to looking old is evidenced by the fact that Americans spend more than $12 billion each year on cosmetics to camouflage the signs of aging. Our current society places a premium on youthfulness, and age discrimination in the workplace, although illegal, has stalled many a person’s career. Indeed, the emotional ramifications of aging explain in large part why the cosmetics industry and plastic surgeons thrive.

Can forehead wrinkles be removed by laser? If so what type of laser is more effective?
by admin on Mar.06, 2010, under forehead wrinkles
I have two lines across my forehead and would like to try to laser them out. If any one knows about this type of procedure please let me know what type of laser I should ask for and what to expect. Any ideas are welcome except for Botox!! Thanks
I heard juvederm is better for that type of removal as it has natural ingredients to stimulate collagen and remove facial lines. it is approved by the FDA and a naturally occurring substance in your skin that helps to add volume and hydration.
Is it good to use wrinkle creams and products?
by admin on Mar.06, 2010, under best wrinkle creams
Im 13 and i might start using wrinkle creams and products, does it prevent future wrinkles?
*Many, if not most, anti aging creams and products are skin harming and skin aging and can cause severe irritation, even cause acne and worse. (See sites below). Many have been pulled from market in Europe because of cancer causing concerns. Anything that you simply apply to skin is going to do very little, if anything at all to prevent wrinkles . And so many of these products`are ridiculously priced – they waste your money and harm you!
A nationwide survey of users of anti aging products found less than 50% said they were effective.(see below)
I have had remarkable success using safe, modest cost essential oils and brisk massage. Oils nourish skin with many age stalling beneficial nutrients. Even the first day skin will look healthier, revitalized and have a glow. It will greatly firm and keep skin tight and will also heal many skin conditions rid you of all blemishes and give you a clear skin
