What is the best skin cream for older ladies to use?

I am 59 years old and I don’t find that any facial creams I use are any good. I still find my skin to be dry a lot of the time. Is there any name brand of facial cream that really does help my skin to be moist and help it to not sag? I am also noticing signs of wrinkles by the sides of my nose and lower mouth and I hate the look of that. I tried a lot of facial creams but they all seem the same. Anyone know of a really good facial cream for my age that isn’t too expensive? Thanks !

go to your local drugstore and look for a moisturizer/cream called Ponds. it looks like this

Never used one, never had to. I think your doctor can prescribe a cream for vaginal dryness. Never used that either.

Can you recommend a gentle eye cream for sensitive skin?

The corners of my eyes get very irritated while applying makeup. I know the first recommendation would be to stop using makeup, but I think there must be another solution. I am NOT looking for anti-aging and wrinkle creams – they irritate my eyes and are not what I’m looking for. I’ve tried using facial moisturizers and cream like Cetaphil, but they irritate them (even Aveeno) or are too greasy to apply in the morning (Cetaphil).

Does anyone know of a brand of gentle eye cream that is just moisturizing, with no anti-aging or other irritants?

You actually need to use Eyebase before putting on makeup on your eyes.

I also has very sensitive skin and very thankful to a friend who recommended a brand to me that is called Motives. I’ve been using this brand for two years and my skin feels great. What Avon products are tried and true?

What specific skin care products from Avon have users tried that really produced results…especially undereye creams and facial wrinkle lotions.

The line from avon called Anew. Its a bit more expensive but I used to sell Avon and I had so many customers who were regular buyers of these products and swore by them and I have seen the results from hem firsthand. Amazing!!

Any recommendations for a new facial lotion and night cream?

I’m 29 and am interested in products that will help prevent wrinkles, but that aren’t too expensive (under $25). My skin is pretty dry but not especially sensitive. I still occasionally get pimples.

Currently I’m using Dove Deep Moisture SPF facial lotion, but I don’t really like it because it’s not very moisturizing and it leaves my skin dull.

I’m also using The Body Shop’s Vitamin E Night Cream, which I really like the feel of, but my boyfriend thinks it smells like his grandmother.

Any recommendations? Please include the price if possible.

I like anything by Burt’s Bees- the products smell good and are almost 99% natural. Most of their face creams go for under $15

Have you ever wondered how statisticians quantify certain subjective percentages?

For example : Some shampoo advertisements on tv state that certain shampoos result in say 22% more volume in hair washed by that shampoo for 6 weeks…….do they weigh the hair of those participating in the study?
Or : 7% less wrinkles when using certain facial creams…..are the wrinkles measured?
Or : The average man is found to think about sex every 7 minutes….how do they arrive at such a time frame?
Hve you ever wondered about these assessments when they appear or is it only me?

It seems advertisers love throwing in statistics then expect us to believe them when they dont show how they arrived at their stats. (Theres a new product that claims to "fix" your skins DNA. I knew we were making progress in gene therapy, but i didnt realise there were already products on the market…)

I believe that, in cosmetic product trials, a sample group of +-80 (i think) women is used to ascertain the efficacy of a product. I dont know about you, but i think thats a paltry amount of ppl in a study. Hence i dont take anything they say 100% seriously.

How DID they come by the "average man is found to think about sex every 7 minutes" theory???? Did they wire up a guys brain or something? (btw: i heard it was every 7 SECONDS.)

My mom bought eucerin sensitive facial skin anti wrinkle. My question i seeing as it has no oil in it coul?

d I use it on my face after i`ve used my neutrogena no oil acne cream stuff. As it has no oil? Would this moisturizer be ok?

Do you have acne problems? If you do, you shouldn’t use Eucerin. Eucerin is really heavy and even though the label says "no oil," it’s still going to end up blocking pores.

But if you don’t have acne problems, then yeah, go for it. Eucerin products are actually very good for dry skin.

Best natural product for facial skin care?

I am 23 years old and have wrinkles around my eyes from too much smiling (wrinkles won’t stop me though!) and sun damage when I was younger. I am currently using an anti-wrinkle eye cream that is quite expensive and the results aren’t that great.
I would like to use a natural product around my eye area to help plump up the skin and help protect against future damage, that is not too expensive and is easy to source.
I live in Australia so it needs to be available here.

Most important practice for preventing future wrinkles is sunscreen. Make sure it has both UVA and UVB protection (most chemical sunscreens only have UVB protection, whereas the UVA is what causes deeper damage and wrinkles). Look for something that uses zinc oxide or titanium dioxide as its active ingredient.

Weird I know, but is it true that hemoroid cream can smooth out wrinkles/crows feet?

Yes, it seems I’ve hit that age where every time I look in the mirror or smile I’m concious of having crows feet round my eyes. I guess it’s worse cos I’ve always had dry skin.

Anyway, there’s no way I’m resorting to surgery or any of those other nasties… so I wanted to know whether hemoroid cream can actually help smooth out facial wrinkles, as I’ve read about this in a couple of different places.

Has anyone tried it?… and importantly, does it work (even temporarily)?
