How can I get rid of forehead wrinkles?
by admin on Jan.21, 2010, under forehead wrinkles
I’m only 16 but I have forehead wrinkles. They’re almost like acne scars. I feel like all my stress is building up there.
The fact that your forehead skin holds wrinkles may be a genetic trait. But you’re right, you may be accelerating it by the the way you show expressions in your face and hold tension there as well.
It would be difficult to “retrain” yourself to express yourself using different facial muscles. After all, that’s part of your unique personality. You can do some facial relaxation exercises to manage your forehead stress, but that would slow the effects of tension, not eliminate it. You could also slow their formation by staying hydrated, moisturing your skin, and staying out of the sun. Excessive sun exposure ages skin and causes it to lose elasticity.
Other than that the only alternative is with botox or some such methods. But do you really want to go through life paying so much and injecting yourself? It may be that the best course of action for you is that you accept your unique personality and unique method of expressing it, and doing what you can (above) to keep your skin healthy.
