Facial Wrinkle

What can I use to reduce/cover up deep wrinkles on the forehead?

by admin on Jul.07, 2010, under forehead wrinkles

I am asking this question for a woman who is about 50. I really do not know much about covering up or helping reduce wrinkles (I’m only 22). I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips or recommend some products that will instantly help lessen the appearance of deep wrinkles on the forehead!

1. Try changing the foundation you use… find one that has SPF and firms skin.

2. Wash your face every night — with either natural soaps or try St. Ives….. which is my personal favorite face scrub. I think St. Ives has one especially to renew skin and it does a great job firming skin.

3. massage some anti-wrinkle creme or moisturizer (i use avon) onto your face– twice a day. Once right before you add your foundation and again before you go to sleep.
If you want to go for something cheaper… Nivea is a good lotion that i like using on my face.

4. Try not to raise your eyebrows so much when you are talking to your b/f or other family members.

5. Always wear sunblock… especially now that Spring is here and the ozone layer is not much help to us anymore! The sun damages skin cells, dehydrates the skin and causes wrinkles. Try wearing accessories such as hats, sunglasses etc.

6. Drink water and eat more vegetables to show a more natural healthy glow. Sleep! Take naps once during the day……..and try not falling asleep at 3 in the morning. Computers, t.v. etc can be distracting.

7. Dont wash your hair everyday…. our hair has natural oils that benefits us—it prevents aging/dry skin.

Try a face primer under your foundation. They usually will label that they help fill in lines.

You should try Lancome’s Renergie Morpho Lift Range, it has lifting and firming properties that will give an instant effect. They also have the Teint Renergee Morpho foundations, which also gives a lifting and firming effect.

However, really there isn’t much you can do to reduce wrinkles other than hope that creams work. Just tell her to avoid powders and heavy foundations that aren’t light reflecting as they will sit in the lines and make them look worse.

    Hope that helped.
